When I was a little boy I dreamt about a girl
Who would help me flee from the cruelty and this fucked up shit in this world
But then I learned even the sweetest blossom is blooming, bleeding and paling
So I went to look for a different track, concentrating on plain sailing
I hiked around philosophy, poetry and song
And years had to pass before I found the answer I was searching all along
Our culture is in danger, the state turned authoritarian
The kids were shouting “no future!” and the poet became a barbarian
[Chorus]:
But still here we are, we love music
We love to dance, we love to write poetry
We are the Barbarians of the 21st Century
One fine lovely evening a wise man said to me
“Don’t you care too much about the past
For the future you gotta see!”
Well now dreaming is a luxury and the past is all I know
And there will be no future if we don’t reap the seeds you sowed
We’re feeling, stealing and dealing with the inherited culture
We’re looking back and keeping track of everything like a vulture
But there will be no songs to sing, no books to write and no leg to swing
If we suppress creativity by enforcing copyrights on every god damn thing.
Still…
[Chorus]
We are the depraved kids of the flow
That leads us away from the light of the glow
A song in our hearts and no place to go
Until we hear the noise of the punk rock show
And we sing with full voices and dance around
We jump to the sky and we won’t touch the ground
We’re fighting the system as long as we breathe
United we stand – divided we fall
We’re the black holes in your teeth
We’re tiny store next to your shopping mall
So when I see the people rushing by in cars and trains
Sometimes I start wondering why I’m not part of their game
All the whipping and the tripping just to justify your lives
Really, I am wondering why there is so much strife
And I thought I’d found the answer but I know that I was wrong
This song is just a cry for help, to look at the new dawn
So if you are out there and you feel the same as me
Then come on by and sing along to the chorus that will set you free
[Chorus]

Dare to Care
04:02
|
|||
I have to get out of this suppressing jail
It holds me down, I am doomed to fail
I cannot rest any longer
The whole world waits for me to be conquered
In a world that does not care what’s wrong or right
It’s up to me to decide which battle to fight
Humanity has been poisoned with anxiety
Only trusting in one image of a deity
We gotta change the attitude to our social life
Escape from the jails that stab our backs like a knife
We gotta be free to choose where we want to live
We take from the rich and to the poor we give
Happiness lies in the palm of our hands
The choice is yours, no matter what circumstance
I have to break the black glass to see the sun
There’s a battle to fight and without me it can’t be won
[Chorus]:
I should get going but these walls hold me off
I feel locked up in my own mind
I should get going but my motivation’s not enough
I feel I’m not one of your kind
Because you live on your knees
Pretending life’s unfair
You are paying your fees
Risk is something you don’t dare to care about
No you don’t dare to care about
We should dare to care

Heart Beating Songs
04:33
|
|||
My life has been as pale as the moon
It would have been over too soon
The electricity network of my brain
Has been causing me a lot of pain
[Chorus]:
But now I met you
And my life has just begun
Now I feel like I’m the only one
Now my life feels as chaotic as the wind
Blowing my thoughts around, turning my head upside down
Searching for the harmony
A lonesome melody, that was me
[Chorus]
The joy of letting yourself fall into someone’s arms
The relieve you feel when sitting down after a hard day of work on a farm
The summer sun unfreezing the butterflies of your stomach
A long journey yearning to reach the peak and finally climbing the summit
That’s how my life’s going to be
Cause our hearts are beating to our songs
And you dance when you feel like you belong

Last Farewell
04:10
|
|||
It’s been a long time
Since I’ve seen the moon showing his bright face to me
The friend I’d wish to see
Perhaps he knows how far I have to go
To find my music, my passion, my sunshine, my soul
[Chorus]:
It takes me away
To a place where I can find myself
Here’s my last share, here’s my last farewell
I remember you and me talking to the moon
Before you left so soon
[Chorus]
turn around, I have to turn around
no matter what they say
no matter what price I have to pay
cross that street, I gotta run till my feet
won’t feel the weight of my body anymore
I’m leaving to a different shore
[Chorus]
